PACE Monitoring Committee`s co-rapporteurs arrive in Baku

On January 31st co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on Azerbaijan, Joseph Debono Grech and Pedro Agramunt arrived here.
Deputy chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties, Sevinj Fataliyeva said the co-rapporteurs would have meetings in Milli Majlis, Ministry of Justice, Supreme Court and Ombudsman Office.
They will also meet leaders of political parties, NGOs and media representatives.
The purpose of the visit is to become familiar with the state of implementation of Azerbaijan`s obligations before the Council of Europe and state of democratic institutions.
