Euronews officials visit Azerbaijan Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company

Pier Luigi Malesani, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Michael Peters, Managing Director of the Executive Board of Euronews visited Azerbaijan Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (ITV).
Director General of the ITV Ismayil Omarov said President Ilham Aliyev hailed cooperation with Euronews. Mr. Omarov underlined an agreement on cooperation between the two channels was signed in Paris, in July 2011.
Mr. Malesani said issue on broadcasting of the news in different languages, including Azerbaijani were discussed during the Supervisory Board`s last meeting.
Mr. Malesani said Euronews Channel will be soon broadcasted through the ITV. Euronews will broadcast 24-hour a preparation for Eurovision 2012, which is to be held in Azerbaijan, added Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
