Azeri Prosecutor General meets PACE co-rapporteurs

On January 31st Azerbaijan`s Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov met co-rapporteurs of the PACE Monitoring Committee on Azerbaijan Pedro Agramunt de Mora and Joseph Debono Grech. 
During the meeting, Garalov praised the cooperation between PACE and Azerbaijan, saying it was dynamically developing.
He lauded the Azerbaijani President`s work to modernize the country`s justice system.
The Azeri Prosecutor General highlighted what had been done in the country to strengthen the legal basis of prosecutor agencies and protect human rights and freedoms.
Pedro Agramunt de Mora praised cooperation between the organization and the country.
The co-rapporteur stressed PACE supports ongoing democratic processes in Azerbaijan.
They also discussed a number of other issues of mutual interest.
